Privacy
MK Electric privacy notice
This notice covers registrations of interest and enquiries made through the MK Electric microsite.
Who is responsible
The microsite and its enquiry system are operated by DT Innovation Limited, trading as Snowball Group ("Snowball"), which records your registration and acts as controller for that record.
Under review: whether VDK and MK act as separate controllers or joint controllers with Snowball once your enquiry is shared with them for the MK Electric programme.
What we collect
Your name and email; optionally telephone, organisation, route of interest, Sprint 25E/Sprint 66E preference, region and message; the page you used, how you arrived (for example a campaign link) and a submission reference used to prevent duplicates.
How it is processed
Your submission is stored as a contact and enquiry record in Snowball's project database for the MK Electric project, and a notification containing your enquiry is emailed to the Snowball programme team. We use a cloud hosting and database provider and a transactional email provider as processors. Enquiries are not stored only in a website edge cache.
Purpose and lawful basis
To respond to your registration and manage the resulting conversation, on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries you have chosen to make, or steps you ask us to take before a possible agreement.
Programme updates are sent only if you tick the optional box (consent). You can withdraw at any time. Until a controlled update is made, your contact preferences are recorded as unknown, and we do not send marketing on that basis.
Sharing
Where relevant to your request, we may share your enquiry with VDK (electric integration and energy system) and MK (vehicle manufacturer) for the MK Electric programme. We do not sell your data. The precise sharing arrangement is under review.
Retention
Under review: a fixed retention period has not yet been set. We currently keep enquiry records while the conversation is active and the programme is running, and review records that have had no activity. You can ask us to delete your record at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability, and withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
