Founding circuits

Founding Circuits

Keep electric cars on track, with charging done off the car. The proposed £100,000 package combines three cars, a VDK-owned station, ten years of qualifying energy and priority matching of suitable network business.

PROPOSED

Founding Circuit

UNDER REVIEW
  • -Two Sprint 25E and one Sprint 66E (circuit-owned after agreed paid transfer)
  • -VDK-owned standard swap station
  • -Qualifying energy support for ten years
  • -400 reciprocal routed runs over the first three years
  • -Founder network status

Proposed implementation schedule - subject to final supply agreement

The £30,000 is the initial amount within the £100,000 package. There is no standalone £30,000 circuit offer and £30,000 does not purchase three cars. Priority is not guaranteed turnover.

Swap instead of waiting

Target exchange time; checks, handover and thermal recovery are separate.

No exhaust

Less propulsion noise

Electric drive removes exhaust at the car. Site noise and tyre noise still need assessment.

Qualifying energy

Proposed 100% qualifying energy and agreed standard station access for the three enrolled cars.

Priority

Network business

Suitable distributed sessions, Founder events, school activity and brand days within accepted capacity.

Three cars. One station.

PROPOSED
Proposed included scope, subject to the final supply and deployment agreements
ItemIncluded scope
Circuit-owned carsTwo Sprint 25E Discovery and one Sprint 66E Performance, with agreed onboard energy equipment. Title transfers under the paid delivery agreement.
Installed stationCharging and battery-swap installation on the agreed site. VDK-owned, not an asset sold to the circuit.
Energy and standard accessTen years of 100% free qualifying energy for the three enrolled cars, plus agreed standard station, access and swap service.
Operational preparationCommissioning, operator handover and safe-use information; equipment responsibilities recorded in the deployment schedule.
Reciprocity400 Discovery runs over three operational years, plus an agreed paid distribution block at product-specific tariffs and capacity.
ExpansionAdditional cars, modules, capacity or sites through an explicitly priced extension, without cancelling existing rights.
Proposed implementation schedule, not an active payment request

Cars ready and station commissioning / acceptance£35,000£100,000£0

No extra membership fee is added; the initial amount is credited once. Any later asset finance replaces the corresponding payments rather than adding to them. A signed agreement would define the Founder position and preparation process, not mean an operating fleet has already been delivered.

A day on your circuit

Twenty sessions per car.

TARGET
09:00
First start: departures at fifteen-minute intervals, with about ten minutes driving, a target three-minute swap, plus checks and handover.
09:00 to 11:30
Ten runs per car. Charged module pairs return to the cars while used pairs recover and recharge off the car.
Lunch
Modules recover and recharge; the station rebuilds ready inventory.
14:00 to 16:30
Ten more runs per car: 60 planned fleet runs for the three cars.
Overnight
Recharge for the second day: 120 planned departures over the two-day weekend.

STUDY Energy screens are 2.5 kWh per Sprint 25E run and 5.5 kWh per Sprint 66E run. At 6 kW AC per pair and 90% charging efficiency, recharge takes about 28 and 61 minutes respectively, before recovery. The study adds a ten-minute recovery allowance; actual charging eligibility is temperature-based.

Module stock, charge channels, staffing and thermal limits must be validated together. Planned departures are not guaranteed availability or customer bookings.

Reference case

Full-duty reference.

ILLUSTRATIVE

Illustrative full-duty reference - not a demand forecast or guaranteed return · Source: R03, 30 September 2026

The controlled R03 reference case assumes the full 3,600-run annual capacity of a three-car fleet is realised, 30% of paid runs are distributed, and the 400 reciprocal Discovery runs are delivered over the first three operational years. Under that case the modelled operator cash after the £100,000 entry turns positive within the first year. It excludes resale value, finance, taxes, growth and unforeseen costs.

A circuit should judge the package against its own expected utilisation, not the full-duty case. The utilisation scenarios below come from a separate supplementary source dated 8 October 2026.

Inputs: 3,600 available runs a year; 70% direct and 30% distributor paid runs; direct rates £100 Sprint 25E / £120 Sprint 66E; distributor net £40 / £60; running costs £30 / £40 per run; £8,000 annual fixed costs; qualifying Founder energy benefit assumed; 400 reciprocal Sprint 25E runs over the first three years at £30 a run, on otherwise unused capacity; £100,000 initial package. Payback is the simple package payback in years 1 to 3.

Excluded: financing, tax, resale, hosting income, unforeseen costs and any unsupported additional revenue. These inputs are not released customer prices or signed tariffs.

Reciprocal capacity check

400 reciprocal runs over three years is about 133 runs a year. Unused annual slots are 2,880 at 20%, 2,160 at 40% and 1,440 at 60% utilisation, so the reciprocal assumption fits within nominal unused capacity in all three scenarios. That is subject to actual dates, vehicle availability and operating constraints; annual spare capacity does not prove that every requested date is available.

Track-only deployment can proceed independently of the road-approval programme, subject to the applicable circuit, vehicle, insurance, safety and operating requirements.
The role of a founding host+

Proposed priority covers distributed sessions, Founder events, school activity and brand days within accepted capacity. Five suitable circuits support planning the eight-event Founder season, without confirming dates or operating release.

Electric drive removes exhaust at the vehicle and is intended to reduce propulsion noise. Site noise conditions still need assessment; tyre noise and other circuit activity remain.

Vehicle comparison+

For comparison only: the MK price hypotheses are £30,000 (Sprint 25E) and £45,000 (Sprint 66E) PRICE HYPOTHESIS. These are not confirmed prices, and the vehicles are not separately purchasable as a three-car offer. The split of the £100,000 between programme and vehicle is not yet specified.

The three cars have an indicative public-price basis of £105,000 before energy and station access. These are price hypotheses, not manufacturing costs; no separate cash value is claimed for the energy benefit.

Availability, site scope and network capacity+

The proposed qualifying energy period starts when the fleet and station are available for eligible use, not during validation. The station remains VDK-owned; exceptional site works, maintenance, insurance, battery replacement and eventual removal responsibilities need agreement before signature.

The planning calendar is thirty two-day weekends, with ten morning and ten afternoon runs per car. That gives 3,600 annual fleet run slots, not bookings. Staffing, site permissions, thermal recovery and charged-module inventory must support that schedule.

Any distribution block must identify its product, operator net tariff, dates and accepted capacity before it is sold. The same capacity cannot be promised twice; a request on this site creates no reservation or payment obligation.

Network business and operator settlement+
PROPOSED

The fleet and station can host owner trials, schools, Founder events and brand programmes, each with separate capacity, pricing and counterparties. These are not automatic free revenue.

Working operator net settlement per standard driving element is £40 for Sprint 25E circuit Discovery and £60 for Sprint 66E circuit Performance. Qualifying energy is supported separately, never also deducted from the operator net price.

The proposed settlement schedule is 25% on an accepted, funded capacity block and 75% within seven days of verified delivery. Cancellation, release and advance-recovery rules require agreement; no signed tariff or available booking capacity is implied.
